In the midst of the busy, the rhythms, the responsibilities, it's still important to play, to create, and to imagine. Holding the responsible with the creative is a tension that I feel in this season. But recently, I set aside time -- not because I had extra of it -- to paint and play and create these large pattern watercolors. I hope they find their ways to a baby nursery or hallway display or anywhere else they can inspire some playful creativity up ahead!
This original painting is one of a kind. A few specifics about this piece:
- Painted Size 19" x 27"
- Paper size (including painted area + white border) 22" x 30" (note this is slightly smaller paper than some of the others in this series, but the painted area is the same)
- Painted size intentionally to fit within a ready to go Ikea frame -- a few examples would be the largest sizes of the Rodalm, Knoppang, and Lomviken, among others.
- Painted with watercolor paints.
- Painting is NOT framed
